Yet with the support from publisher Codemasters and the backing of new investors, Transmission was reborn as Trickstar Games and work immediately commenced on International Cricket 2010. Still, despite the game's solid critical and commercial performance, the Melbourne-based studio went bust just a couple of months after its release. Last year's Ashes Cricket 2009 was a little light on features and rough around the edges, but whilst it might not have been an explosive David Warner-style debut into the cricket world from Australian developer Transmission Games, it still did just enough right to remain popular with diehard cricket fans.
